Tomi Ogundayo spent one month interning remotely for a Singapore-run blockchain startup. After her internship, she was invited to represent her startup at the UN World Investment Forum on Blockchain for Sustainability/Social Impact in Geneva.

Isabella Ippolito spent two months on Start Me Up’s Startup Internship Program in Bali working on projects for Penguin Random House and on a viral campaign that was featured by the BBC.
After the program she was hired by the company she’d been interning with and was flown to the Kennedy Space Station in Florida to help with an art installation celebrating 50 years since the first man on the moon.

Health and Safety
As an overseas program provider, we take our responsibilities very seriously. We have a sizeable local and international team in the countries where we operate and we undertake regular risk assessments.
All of our team are trained in health and safety procedures and we have detailed checklists in place to ensure that team members know how to act to
promote the highest standards in health and safety.
This includes procedures about what to do in the event that students experience anything from physical illnesses, injuries and mental health issues, to natural disasters.
All participants receive on-boarding, orientation and training before the program starts. This covers information about what to do in the event of an emergency, evacuation points and emergency contacts. Full details of what we offer in terms of on-boarding are available on request.

We have an experienced international team delivering programs in Indonesia.
The largest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is the world’s third biggest democracy and has a population of 264 million people.
A field trip to Indonesia presents students with a unique view on a fascinating developing country. As the economy continues to grow in the region of 5% year on year, Indonesia continues to present challenges and opportunities to businesses, innovators, legislators and managers, making it a fascinating immersive study destination.
We have close links with social enterprises and grassroots organizations in Bali and beyond and can help with access to industry leaders and purpose built workspaces with workshop facilities.
